Male Sexual Dysfunction

  2. Active Sex Life Seen as Protecting Prostate

    A 2004 study published in The Journal of the American Medical Association suggests that frequent sexual activity does not increase the risk of prostate cancer as some studies have suggested, and may even be protective.

  3. Testosterone Replacement Therapy

    There's a gel that could help a man's self-esteem, but it's not a hair care product. Andro-Gel is a form of testosterone that is absorbed directly through the skin. Critics are concerned about possible side effects and misuse.

  4. Consequences of Circumcision

    In a survey of male sexual behavior and overall health after circumcision, researchers found that, among circumcised men, the rate of sexually transmitted diseases was not necessarily lower than men whose foreskin was retained. The researchers also found that UNcircumcised men engage in what they call "a more elaborate set of sexual practices."

    Tina was diagnosed with the HIV virus when she was 22. She contracted HIV from unprotected sex, and now tries to help spread the safer sex message and inform people about HIV and AIDS.
    Clint was diagnosed as HIV positive when he was 17. He says his family has been supportive. Others, though, react with prejudice. And Clint has advice for others who suspect their HIV positive.
