Anxiety is Ruining My Life!

Rockympls:

I have experienced generalized anxiety and panic attacks for the past 10 years. I have neglected my condition and always thought it would just go away. It has now cost me my relationship with my son's mother. She doesn't understand anxiety and thinks I just don't want to go places with her or attend family functions that are more than a 10-minute car ride away. I feel like I'm losing a lot and it's very scary. My questions to the community: I have an extreme fear of anxiety medications making me feel "high". I have enrolled in counseling, but I think I might need help from something else too. Are there medications that change your mood without the strong side effects? respond here

Something to think about...
