In May, my husband was diagnosed as Bipolar II. We'd suspected it for a couple of months prior to that, but professionals kept labeling him with a severe depressive disorder. No one saw the anger and anxiety that I saw and lots of reading led to me to determine that the anxiety (daily panic attacks) and anger were forms of mania.

I want to separate from him, but I feel he will kill himself if we separate. I feel like an emotional hostage. I need help.
